I am Lucida, a demon of dreams. Some would call me a succubus or sex vampire. Indeed, the former label pleases me.
What separates me from succubi in literature and other media? For starters, I do not kill; I have no need for it. Humans have plenty of extra psychosexual energy for nourishment. If the milk is abundant, I see no benefit in harming the cow.
My gender is not predetermined. The terms succubus and incubus imply female and male forms, respectively. Although I prefer the former, the latter is not entirely inaccurate. However, I prefer and worship the female form. Because gender norms do not apply to me, typical phrases to define my sexual orientation range in clarity from inaccurate to nonsensical. I am sexually attracted to many kinds of people. I go all ways, but I am a picky eater.
At the moment, I am confined to a human body. This is usually frustrating, but there are some advantages. Perhaps due to the installation of myself within it, the host body usually has plenty of psychosexual energy. I can even feed off of it directly, and it is quite satisfactory.
There is certainly more to explain and learn, but I have more pressing matters at the moment.
